John Collins was born and raised in the Willamette Valley in a small town called Pleasant Hill. John came to La Grande in 1967 to attend Eastern Oregon University and fell in love with the local area and never went home. He met his wife of 37 years while attending Eastern and they have a daughter Johnna who is now married and has three sons and a daughter.

John was first licensed in 1978. He has been an active broker in Oregon for over 30 years, specializing in farm and ranch sales as well as commercial and residential sales. In 2008 he received the compliment from his peers being named "Realtor of the Year". Well versed in land use and all types of exchanges. John can provide you with all types of experience in the farm and ranch business. While John and Connie presently run 200 mother cows and lease about 5000 acres here in the local area, he is a full time Real Estate Broker.
